The last few days I have been craving a crab louie. Don't ask me why - it's just been there *grin*
So today is a gorgeous day here - about 75 degrees and sunny.
Decided to take the ferry into San Francisco and goof around on the wharf for a bit. Riding on the top deck, I just kicked back and relaxed. It never got hot because of the wind and the bay spray. Was reading The Perils of Paella by Nancy Fairbanks. Window shopped mostly, but did buy a fairy cow for Sony for her birthday. The cowabunga singing devil cow was better, but this one was cute - including the glitter wings and the pink magic wand. Also bought myself a pair of ear cuffs that I'd been admiring at Harry Mason's.
Had my shrimp and crab louie at the Pier Market Seafood restaurant. Had a cup of their claim chowder too - delicious. Did a little bit more shopping and then caught the ferry back home. We passed a tall ship - the Hawaiian Chieftain at the mouth of the estuary. Impressive - was just waiting for Jack Sparrow to show up. (well, if not Jack, how about
Saw All My Sons by Theatreworks last night. I really enjoyed it.
