* Berlin - Munich *

Bus day - I hate bus days. Had to go through the East German border again. Lovely. Took an hour - I think that bus rides are a slow means of torture.

Arrived in Munich about 5pm. There were seven of us in a 2 bedroom apartment. God, we got stuck with Ruthie. Seven girls with only 1 sink, 1 toilet and 1 bath tub. What a mess. Ruthie acted like a spoiled brat, as usual - had to have her shower, had to dry her hair, etc. No consideration at all.

We walked to the hof brau house. Had bratwurst and sauerkraut and 1/2 liter of beer (yuk). There was a band - played German folk songs. Then there was folk dancing, songs played by cow bells and also songs on the huge Swiss horns. They also cracked whips to music. The bar maid Angela - she wore about a size 95EEE bra - yodeled and then chugged down a liter of beer. She did it twice during the evening. Bought a sweatshirt for either K or G.

Did dance twice - once with Peter - hell, I didn't know what the heck was going on! The other was when the band finally gave in and played the duck dance. Poor John, all night all he wanted to do was that darn dance! It was fun though - Trish, Larry and I ended up doing the duck dance together FUN! (especially since nobody knew what they were doing!)

Sharon, Karen, Melissa, Dan and I ended up walking back together. We strolled along the pedestrian store way , window shopped and talked.
