Buffy: The Dark Age

Okay, I'll admit it. Glowing, green/yellow spooky eyes scare the hell out of me. Glowing silvery eyes do the same thing. I'm not sure why, it just does. Watching monster type stuff when I'm by myself is NOT a good thing for me. Logically I know it's a stupid reaction. Emotionally... ?

Watched two more episodes of Buffy. By myself. It's almost 1am. I'm freaked. Every light is on in my apartment.

I've been spooked by glowing eyes ever since I saw the Star Trek OS episode "Where No Man Has Gone Before" I saw it as a little kid. It left quite an impression on me. Saw it again as a teenager. It still freaked me out. And here I am, 42 years old, and a stupid episode of Buffy with glowing eyes has freaked me out and I'm looking for monsters under the bed. *sigh*

Almost as bad as when I finished reading the Exorcist. I had to go and listen to my parents snore down the hall just to be reassured - and I was 13 or 14 at the time.

I'm a masochist. I'm going back into the living room and watch a few more episodes.
