We've been doing Thanksgiving with Mom's side of the family for as long as I can remember. We've been hosting it for well over 30 years. We as in Mom and when she passed away 8 years ago, then the three of us, K, G & me. Sisterly bonding. *grin* We usually have anywhere from 25 to 45 people show up at one point or another during the day.
There have been times when Dad's side of the family shows up too. It's always been fun.
Auntie called yesterday and left 5 phone messages for me to call her. I didn't get off work until after 8. Maybe it's about Christmas. I hope it's about Christmas. *sigh*
If it's about Thanksgiving, I'll just ask her and her family to join us.
5:46pm: Sigh of relief. It IS about Christmas dinner. Basically she wants to see the kiddies, so if Gayle & Steve decide they'd like a quiet evening, K & I will bring Alani & Kyle to see Auntie. (kind of like last year cuz steve had to work, and Anne wanted somebody to bring the kids over)
