Thursday, herefox and I saw Theatreworks' newest production Opus. It was one of the best shows we've seen!

Friday night, I finally got together with Liz. Dinner at C'era Una Volta. Liz was craving a glass of white wine - and she got to drink most of mine too. A good long chat with a good friend =)

Saturday, drove up to Cal State Hayward (aka CSUEB) for Wesley's graduation. Ceremony started at 9am, but the processional was to start at 8:30. Why didn't they just say the commencement exercise started at 8:30?

Sunny - very glad I had lots of sun screen on. Windy too. The marquee tent over the stage had to be evacuated in the middle of the ceremony because it was in danger of falling down. No actually commencement address - though they did award an honorary doctorate to Human Rights activist Yuri Kochiyama. My, there is still a lot of fire left in that woman! She was interned in Jerome. Mom's family was in Jerome for a while - wonder if they knew her?

Wesley graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. Go Wes!

Celebration lunch at Chevy's. Got to meet Laura's new bf, Dave and his son, D.J.
Wesley's graduation party will be next Friday evening!
