Thanksgiving Eve

I haven't heard any giggles from my bedroom for the last 20 minutes or so. I think they're finally out. At 10 pm, I had two giggling, excited kidlets - wide awake and so NOT ready to go to sleep. Pillow fight, stealing blankets (bed is totally in shambles) and I had to put a pillow in the middle of the bed to keep them from "breathing the other's air" =)

All Wednesday's to do list is done. Still debating on what to do the yams tomorrow - boil or bake? I serve them plain (no maple syrup mashed casserole with marshmallows) - partly because of dietary restrictions (hello, sugar?) and partly because many folk just like it plain with a bit of salt.

Kyle made the lime and blueberry finger jellos. Alani did the strawberry and lemon finger jellos. They both put together the orange one.

Need to be out of the house by 11am - need to pick up flowers for the obutsudan and ice for the sodas. That means I'm going to have to wake up by 8am or so. It could be worse - K gets up early enough to have the 2nd turkey in the oven by 6 or 6:30am...

Alani has requested waffles for breakfast. As usual.
Kyle will be up around 6am so he can play a video game (He's already been warned "NO TAIKO DRUM MASTER in the AM"). It was after finding out that last Thanksgiving morning, he'd started playing video games at 4:15am that I made the rule about no gaming until after 6am.
