There are kidlets in my bed again. Alani brought her own down pillow.
KYLE stole my pillow. *weg*

There was much giggling Tuesday night. herefox made me sing for my supper - we played the Beatles Rock Band. At some points, I was laughing so hard, I could barely breathe, let alone sing. The problem with singing a song that you learned when you were very young is that you're singing both the melody and harmony - switching parts every other line or even word at times. *g*

I won the A's Gift Basket at work (raffle for the Employee Giving Campaign). MVP tickets for 9/18 and 10/4, a Justin Duchsherer bobble head, a Rickey Henderson Hall of Fame banner, 2 bags of peanuts and a bag of twizzlers. I guess it helps when there are less than 100 entries and I had 12 of them *weg*

Turned out that K was off today, and G had no plans, so we did the sisterly bonding thing. Shopping at the mall and lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. There was a bit of a snafu, so the manager comp'd us some appetizers: fried zucchini and a flat bread pizza. G got the chicken marsala, K got a spicy chicken with mashed potatoes and I got the salisbury steak with mashed potatoes. Was able to switch out the string beans for broccoli. =)

CARROT CAKE, with three forks, for the win!

Picked up the kidlets from school (oooh, so easy now. Just go up the block and across the street!) Alani, K and I did a Costco run and picked up pizza for dinner. Kyle went to soccer practice and S dropped him off at my place afterwards.

Watched Pete's Dragon. Kyle was not impressed. Alani liked it. Kyle spent the rest of the evening playing Radiata Stories. Alani read me If You Give a Pig a Pancake.

Both kids went to sleep listening to "my favorites" on the snoopy ipod speakers.
