Ah the joys of finding a parking space in a crowded college town on a Sunday morning. Ugh. We lucked out and caught one just as somebody was leaving. Diney and John were doing that drive round and round for 30 minutes thing. At least they didn't have to wait in line (line went out the door, down the street and around the corner) We just waited until they arrived and said 'Rick, we're all here!" and then he moved us to the front of the order line. *g*
A knish, a kugel, carrot spread, chopped liver, a reuben, a Jon and Amy (pastrami and corned beef!) and more...
On the way back to the car, we stopped at an artisan's craft fair. Kev and Tammy were busy looking at the jewelry. Me? I picked up a red velvet cape, with a matching hat and white fur muff - American Girl doll sized and very pretty and much less expensive than the stuff online. Alani will be happy =)
Next, the The Bakehouse and the Creamery.
Cheese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stichelton (Neal’s Yard Dairy’s very own raw-milk Stilton.) Gorrotxa. Cottins. Detroit Street Brick. Yum.
Gelato! With skyscraper shaped cones!
Bread... One loaf of the chocolate cherry and one of the green chile cheese went home with me. More yum!
Then it was farewell to Diney and John *sniff* Maybe at the next EastCoastBowerCon?
Kev drove all the way back to Indiana. Tammy was copilot. I slept in the back *g*
