One of those days...

Sometime after 2 AM, some number challenged person called and asked "Is Monique there?". I had stumbled to phone (adrenaline and all that) and answered quite tersely "You've got the WRONG number" and hung up. If he had tried the number again, he would have just gotten a busy signal, as in my not quite awakeness, I had neglected to hang the phone up correctly. I stomped back into bed, and put on a tape and eventually fell back to sleep. Late night calls usually mean something bad has happened. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRr.....

So this morning, I'm telecommuting. Phone is off the hook and pager - is in the car. Made for some unhappy people. I did get lots of work done though. *sigh*
