Last night, herefox and I went to this year's American Idol concert. This year, the format was for each finalist to sing 3 songs each. There were no duets or trios - I wish that they had had them. They had a group sing of the bottom 6 at the end of the first half and then a group sing at the end of the concert. I really enjoyed listening to Brooke's session - especially "Let It Be". I giggled to Foxy's reaction of Jason Castro singing Iz's version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Enjoyed both Davids!

What is it with people? The teens sitting next to us never shut up the entire concert.

We were also surrounded by rabid David A. fans - teeny boppers above us and a bunch of women in the their early twenties. Oy. My ears.

I'm slowly getting used to my bifocal gas permeable contacts. I haven't worn contacts in months - not having any problems focusing - just the usual eye irritation from getting used to hard lenses again.

Packing, packing, packing. Laundry is done. I have to figure out where I put the rest of the Christmas presents. I'm only 7 months late.

My plane to MidWestBowerCon leaves at 11:48pm tomorrow night. Red eye. I hope I'll be able to nap. Have to remember to check in online tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to get a seat assignment at that time.
