Thursday, I met up with andreal for lunch at Angelina's Bistro in downtown Redwood City. His company had relocated to the seaport area which was 5 minutes away.
That night, herefox and I went to Theatreworks' production of Twelfth Night which was set in 1967 San Francisco. I enjoyed it once I got used to the grooviness of Shakespeare's dialog. The setting was very "mod" if I remember the word correctly. There are pictures of me and my sisters with that kind of "mod" design pants.
Friday, Foxy met me at work and we drove back to Alameda. Had a chatty dinner at my favorite mexican restaurant - Acapulco with Joycie, Ron, Wesley and Nancy. Wesley's got a part in CSUEB's production of Urinetown in March, so I'm planning on going.
Saturday, after a visit to the cult gym and breakfast at Jim's, Foxy & I moved all the stuff in my two storage units 400 (10x5) and 401 (5x5) into 411 (10x15). Then we moved some of the stuff out of my third unit 21 (outside 10x18) into 411. Gave G notice that she had to have her stuff out of 21 by January 31st. Most of the stuff in 21 is just thrown in there - not stacked - the desperation of having to move everything out of my apartment last August. Snoopy has been moved to the inside unit. Should have moved my dollhouse too as it is a two person job. Oh Foxy... In the meantime, I need to go through many boxes of books and just donate them to the Friends of the Library - mostly romances and mysteries. I'm probably going to hold on to all the fantasy/science fiction stuff.
After clean up, we picked up Lee and went to Zachary's for dinner. Their cesaer salad is very garlicky... yum! One stuffed pepperoni, black olive and onion pizza and one stuffed spinach, mushroom and sausage pizza and we were in food comas. Lots of leftovers.
Drove to Palo Alto for the Alexander James Adams concert. His voice is still settling out, but it's much smoother than the last time I saw him. Enjoyed the concert very much. Picked up the Wintertide cd which is a compilation of duets with him and Heather. I have to admit, I miss Heather's voice.
Sunday, K and I went to the Farmers' Market and then into the madness that is Costco. Had lunch at the new Hawaiian place at Mariner Square.
Spent the rest of the day reading and sleeping - I'm definitely sick. Tomorrow Sean and I are going to the Sing It Yourself Messiah at MVCPA. This should be interesting as my voice is now at least in the baritone range and is still sinking...
