K & G called and sang happy birthday in a strange sort of harmony...
As did Joycie!
And the kidlets!
I need to figure out a way to copy off my answering machine messages into .wav or .mp3 files.
K & I went to the King's Mountain Art Faire. We parked at the shuttle stop which was a mile away from the faire and walked in. It was a lovely walk except when the cars whizzed a bit too close. (no sidewalk and all).
Chatted with the glass pusher, but I was good and didn't buy anything. He curses the fact that the my new apt doesn't allow for stuff to be hung in the window. Talked with Kayoko's husband - she's back in Japan with her Mom - her Mom is in hospice care with late stage cancer =(
K bought me a new pair of Kayoko's earrings - this pair reads "Love" in kanji. =)
Late lunch at the Clay Oven in San Mateo - Indian Buffet. Yum!
