I have been doing the gym thing 3x/week for over two years now. Go Me!

Things that I need to do today that are not getting done? LAUNDRY. Maybe Wednesday.

Went to Tokyo Fish Market and stocked up- the fridge is sort of empty. K picked up hamachi and maguro for dinner tonight. Yum.

Filled my tote bag at the Farmers' Market this morning - grapes, blueberries (last of the season), nectarines, peaches, mushrooms, zucchini, yellow squash, artichokes, thai basil, garlic fettucine, and two acoustic guitar cds by John H. Clarke. I first heard him play at St. George's Open House last month and really enjoyed it. I'd wished that I had bought the cds then. =)

Goth me? *g*

Well done!

The experts here at the Proto-Goth Icon Study Department at Miskatonic University have determined that your Icon Match(tm) is David Bowie!

Commonly known as the "chameleon of pop", David Bowie is constantly predicting trends and adjusting his style and persona, while holding on to his own ideas and creativity. He has had a profound influence on rock music from the 1970s to the present. His "glam rock" phase, from 1969 to 1973, was was responsible for much of the look which flavored both early Goth and New Romantic.

His androgynous appearance, love of melodrama and his use of dark themes all contributed to his having a strong influence on many early goth bands. Both Rozz Williams of Christian Death and Peter Murphy of Bauhaus cited David Bowie as being very influential to their own musical pursuits.
