When I started tearing up as I listened to Terry Jacks' Seasons in the Sun, I knew something was up. Yes, Dad really liked this song - but I don't normally react this strongly to it. Ah. Reality check. Hormone check. It's about that time of the month.

PSA - for those people who share my brain and for those poor people who may be in my general vicinity this weekend? You have been warned.

On a tangent, but...

I used to listen to Seasons in the Sun when I was under 10 years old on my little 45 record player. Somehow, we got a stack of my mom's 50's and 60's 45's mixed in with our kiddie records. I had NO clue what the lyrics actually meant till years later though. *G*

Seasons in the Sun was the number one hit in 1974 =) I still have the 45 too =)
