Misc catch up

Last Saturday, herefox and I headed down to Carmel for the day. I needed to recharge the psychic batteries - mental energy has been very low. A bit of grounding, perhaps? Sitting on the beach and just listening to the waves come in just makes me feel "rested".

Had brunch at Friar Tuck's instead of the usual Pernille's (it was closed. Not sure if it's closed for good). Food was good and the wait staff a lot of fun. Will definitely have to go back again. Did a bit of shopping - bought a few candles. Amazingly, did not buy anything at Lush's.

Lots of doggies on the beach. Got a doggie kiss from one of them. =)

Saw Trying at Theatreworks on Thursday. Fictionalized account of the last year of Francis Biddle's life. It was excellent - go see it! It had me laughing and crying.

A couple of weeks ago, I managed to finally get rid of the three old pc's that had been sitting, first in my apt, and then in my storage unit. Took them to work and had the one of the techie's pull a few files of them. Then he showed me how to wipe the drive. OOOH clean drive is my new best friend. Then K & I dropped off the pcs at the weekend computer recycle fair. Drive in, drive out, we were done in less than 5 minutes. yay!!!
