I am nuts. Yup.

What was I thinking????

At least the day wasn't as hot as it could have been.
Great America was packed.
We got to the park at 10:30 and left at 5:30. New record for us.
2 six year olds and a 4 year old.
Kyle, Nathan and Alani

Kyle wanted to ride all the rollercoasters. Nathan did not - but he didn't want to ride the merry go round cuz it was boring. Alani would have probably loved the merry go round, but she didn't ride it at all.

At least there were three adults- me, karen and herefox

Much ado about getting wet - unfortunately the waterslide/park for kids was closed. Kids ended up playing in the geyser/fountain area and the dang waterfall maze. Alani would not go by herself and dragged Auntie Debbie through. I sloshed the entire rest of the day.

Net result?
One adult per kid and everybody was riding something different. Kids were still wired at the end of the day. The adults? EXHAUSTED

Thank goodness that Kyle did win a bigger prize on one of the games. Nathan had already won two and Alani won one (with help). Otherwise there would have been a huge melt down.

Thanks herefox =)

When I was waiting for you to finish getting the food I wanted to duct tape Nathan's mouth shut 'cause he kept going on and on about how he won the prizes and how Kyle could have won if he just TRIED. I was expecting a nuclear meltdown at anytime and I kept trying to deflect the conversation towards rides and stuff but two minutes later Nathan would go back to the games *laugh*

Aside from that and the occasional whininess he wasn't a bad kid though...and it was amusing to see how happy he was on the few rides he rode.

And you're welcome...I'm glad the cold didn't hit till after the park so that I could be of help.
