Just walked into the laundry room. Big SLUG crawling around on the floor close to the dryer. Where it came from, I have no idea, but it hadn't been there 10-15 minutes before (when I had pulled the last load of clothes from the dryer).
Scooped it up with some paper and put it outside.
Could have been worse. I could have found a smooshed slug.
