Roll Call plus cranky rant

greenmtnboy18 will be in town Oct. 22 through morning of the 29th.

Plans have not been set in stone yet, but tentatively, the following items have been set. Let me know if you're interested!

  1. Friday night, Oct. 22nd, there will be much pizza. We are off to Zachary's on College Ave. We probably won't get there until 9pm or so, as Alex's plane gets into Oakland at 8pm.

  2. Saturday night, Oct. 23rd, there will be much garlic! Off to The Stinking Rose for an early dinner - Lee gets off work at 5pm, so we're looking at 6pm dinner. I need a head count on this one as I have to put in the reservation about a week in advance.

  3. Sunday, Ren Faire down at Casa de Frutta! Meet you down there?

Stupid cold. Been fighting it all week. Thought it was just allergies, but the coughing kicked in along with the runny nose and stuffed up head late Tuesday. Even though I hadn't slept very well (coughing off and on), I started to get ready for work. Came to the realization that I felt awful and the best place for me would be back in bed. So back to bed I went.

Cranky, cranky, cranky.

You are green. Perhaps one of the most balanced of
all the colors. By balanced, I mean balanced
in both bad and good parts. Let me elaborate:
You're a natural, and somewhat superficial
person. You're extremely generous, but, to add
to the confusion, you're frugal and stingy.
You're a forgiving, but jealous person. You're
imaginative, but still logical. At sometimes,
you're a complete neat-freak, and other times,
you're a total slob. You're very stable, but
undependable. But onto the other traits that
are associated with this color... You're a
stubborn person, simply put. Do you believe in
Feng Shui? Green is closely related to the
thought of having a balanced environment, you
know. When in a bad situation, you're
painfully pessimistic, and when you're in a
good situation, you're extremely optimistic. A
fairly outgoing and amused person, you enjoy
talking to people, and hearing their thoughts
on different things. As a plus, when people
hang around you, it seems like time passes by
all the more quickly.

What color are you? (Amazingly detailed & accurate--with pics!)

1. 9pm? On a Friday night? Wouldn't take-out be better? I'd be happy to do a Zachary's pick-up and bring them somewhere, though there would be a slight difference texture-wise to the pizzas. If not, I can get there a bit earlier to get in line (headcount would be nice but not critical). Either way, I guess we'll need to get a breakfast pizza for Alex.

2. Me. There's a booksigning at Borderlands Books (only a block or two from the pirate store, hint hint) at 2pm so I'll head over after that.

Yeah, was thinking about Zachary's and Friday night. If you're willing to do pick up, that would be wonderful. I'll probably go ahead and call in the order earlier in the day. We'd most likely end up eating at my place. Hey! We could do much wine then. Dessert!

Yup, Zachary's pick-up works for me. Whatever is easier for you -- if you send me the order I can call it in just before I head off to get it. I'm assuming you want the fully-cooked rather than the half-baked.

Are you feeling any better? Hope so.

I might be up for the RenFaire with you guys. My boy has expressed in interest in going eventually also, so maybe we could drive down to Alameda and meet up with you all? I haven't run this by him yet, but it's a possibility. I want to wear my garb again! :D

That would be wonderful!!!

Does this mean we get to interrogate meet him? *weg*
*IF* we decide to get there in time for Opening (10am), we'd need to depart Alameda no later than 8:30AM.
