Pass the dramamine please...

I've spent part of today playing Kingdom of Hearts. I've also spent part of today being motion sick. There's got to be a better way.

Various friends have told me that I'd really like this game. I mean, it has Disney in it *g*. Winnie the Pooh. Oh, and funky camera angles. Zipping around looking for things, or racing to hit a star or just jumping off a cliff - ick - motion sick am I. Is it just me, or is this a common? Is this because I never played this kind of game growing up and I just don't have the eye coordination to handle it?

I gave up for the night because I kept getting killed by the shadow creatures down on the beach. Why can't I kill any of them? I keep attacking them and they just WON'T die. I keep having to go to the save point in the shed and recharging. *sigh*

Any suggestions or comments from the peanut gallery?

Huh. I've never had that happen to me. Then again, I'm not the slightest bit prone to motion sickness, and I *did* grow up playing video games. And I must say, if any game was going to induce it, it'd be this one. I'm enjoying the game, but the camera is eeeeeeeeeevill and annoying.

As for the not-dying thing, do you make sure that you've locked on to the enemy? Press R1 and you should see a blue circle on something and the word "Locked On" in the upper right hand corner. The camera will follow that thing and you'll generally hit it if you're close enough.
