Of the 100 top places to see (according to Hillman Wonders of the World), I've been to the following:

  • 14 Acropolis/Parthenon

  • 21 Manhattan Skyline

  • 23 Fjords of Norway

  • 26 Sistine Chapel

  • 27 Great Barrier Reef

  • 34 Leaning Tower of Pisa - we were allowed to climb all over the building!


  • 38 Canals of Venice

  • 39 Walt Disney World

  • 43 St. Peter's Basilica

  • 45 Alhambra

  • 48 Louvre Museum

  • 49 Versailles

  • 50 Las Vegas Strip

  • 53 Metropolitan Museum

  • 58 Florence Cityscape

  • 59 Pompeii

  • 65 Mezquita of Cordoba

  • 69 Golden Pavilion

  • 70 Delphi

  • 73 Kennedy Space Center

  • 74 St. Mark's Basilica & Campanile

  • 77 Statue of Liberty

  • 79 San Francisco Bay/Cityscape

  • 71 St. Basil's Cathedral - and lots more of Russia

  • 94 Stonehenge - hopefully going there in May, 2004

Have you gotten around or what! I've been to very few compared to you, though I have been to the Grand Canyon. And I've seen Taj Mahal, but that would be the singer and not the tomb.

Maybe Italy and a lot of the sights there. Some friends joked about going on the "Under the Tuscan Sun" tour, with gay male tour bus and all. :)
