Beep, Beep...

Beep, beep. Beep, beep.
The alarm went beep beep beep.

Ya know, that beep that a smoke alarm does to warn you that its battery is low? Yup.
There's been one (or several?) going off for the past week or two. 24/7
Grrrrrrrrrrrr....

I'm figuring that it's in one of the vacant apartments - there are several in the complex. (Anybody need a new apt? I can get credit for recommending tenants *weg*)

*sigh*

Augh, how annoying?

Complaints to The Mgt have not persuaded them to go in and replace the battery or whatever's needed? Even more annoying.

I have not complained yet because I haven't figured out whether it's coming from my complex or the one next door.

Currently, it's quiet =)

I have the same problem with fireworks (not just near the Fourth of July, but practically all summer). They're so noisy that they're probably illegal in a residential neighborhood, but I can't figure out just where they are so I could tell the police where to go.

Alert the complex. Having alarms out of commission is a violation of the fire code. They're legally required to put in new batteries. If they don't within two days of WRITTEN notice, inform the police.
