DRAT DRAT DRAT!!!

I have just been informed that Alani has lice.
She had complained on Sunday of an itchy head at the ball game, but I thought it was the heat...

Karen checked my head and didn't see anything, but I will be doing the RID shampoo thing tonight. Neither Karen nor Kyle have any signs either, but they've done the shampoo thing. G too. They're doing massive amounts of laundry over there.

Alani and Kyle slept over on Saturday, so my place is fair game too. She didn't complain about the itching until Sunday afternoon, so????

Bed is stripped, blankets sealed in plastic bags. I see much laundry in my future too.

WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Thanks for advice!
I clicked on the link - yup we've got three of those combs plus a zapper thingy too. Sort of looks like a taser for lice?

Geez, I could barely see the nits in Alani's hair. If G hadn't pointed them out to me, I would never known.

I haven't had to deal with this since my "niece" Melissa got it when she was 10 (? - she's 22 now). I remember both her hair and misstsapinay's hair went from long to short after the episode.

I've currently got the heebee jeebees. Psychosomatic itching? *sigh*

Ugh. The summer day camp I worked at had 2 lice mini-outbreaks. As one of the camp 'nurses' I got to help do lice checks on 400 kids. The white-blonde haired kids are impossible!

Good luck, hope you guys caught it early.

I called my friend Joycie - the cosmetologist and now a teacher's aide. She is the "official" head checker at the school =)

I guess having black hair is good in this case!

Thanks!
