You know it's one of those days when...

  • The radio is silent, which means you've slept through at least two alarms

  • The vampire technician at the lab can't find your veins in either arm and has finally gotten blood out of a vein on the back of your hand. 3 jabs!

  • The area around where the blood was drawn? Puffy. Turning bruise colors

  • You've just learned that SQL's data transformation service does NOT just transfer the table you've right clicked on, but the entire database. Intranet is now down until database can be restored

Can I go back to bed now? Pull all the covers over my head? Pretty please?

My arm veins may as well be non-existant. I just tell them flat out when I arrive: "you'll have to use a butterfly on my hand. No, really. Just do it."

Bruises means you either didn't put enough pressure on it, or not long enough (ten minutes or so) or you bruise really easily.

Sorry your day was teh suck.
